Emily Eckart is the author of Pale Hearts, a short story collection. Her writing has appeared in Nature, The Washington Post, Potomac Review, Philadelphia Stories, New World Writing, and elsewhere. She has been a visiting artist at New York Mills Regional Cultural Center. She studied music, literature, and sustainability at Harvard University.
